I dropped almost another pound yesterday:
Current Weight: 122.4 pounds
Yesterday’s Weight: 123.2 pounds
Starting Weight: 131.2 pounds
I can hardly believe I made it to day nine, but I must admit that since day four or so, things have been pretty easy overall. Even the salt water flush is getting much easier to do. Although I still can only get 25-28 ounces down (of 32), it no longer makes me nauseous. I’m finding that it goes through me real fast as well – fifteen to twenty minutes.
I am getting pretty tired of drinking the lemonade/limeade drink. It’s mainly the maple syrup that taste almost sickly sweet to me now. I’m looking forward to transitioning over to OJ and then vegetable broth in a couple of days. Not because I’m necessarily craving them per se, but because I’m craving different tastes.
Overall my energy level is good, although I’m not “super energized” yet like some people experience towards the end of the cleanse. I would say my energy level feels pretty normal. I feel a lot lighter as well (no wonder), which is nice. My tongue is now almost completely pink.
I’ve noticed some changes in my bowel movements, which have gone from being mainly “highlighter yellow” from day three on, to now having some more darker matter in them (probably compacted waste from my intestines) and also more mucous (sorry for those who have difficulty with this level of detail!). Raylen Sterling discusses what to expect in terms of your bowel movements in quite some detail, so if you are interested in learning more I suggest you consider picking up a copy of his book “Master Cleanse Secrets.”
I was able to make it through the weekend with few problems. There were a few social occasions were I had to decline food (saying I was “not hungry” at the moment) which was a little awkward, but in general it was not as rough as I feared. It has been blazing hot, however, so I’m drinking a lot of water alongside the lemonade drink.
I have been on a cleaning rampage for my house today. Sweeping, loads of laundry, organizing closets and so forth. I guess I want to be super clean both inside and out. I’m ready for my post-Master cleanse life!
Tip of the Day: Drink your lemonade through a straw to reduce the possibility of it possibly damaging the enamel on your teeth.
